Well, I scraped the cabled mittens. I just didn't like how they were turning out. So, I have taken the yarn that I had originally chosen for the mittens and have started a cute sweater.
The pattern is called February Lady Sweater and I found it on Ravelry.com. So far I am very pleased with how the sweater is turning out. I am just starting on the lace that will be the rest of the body of the sweater.
It is a very flowing cardigan with three buttons at the bust. It then sweeps away from the body with a lace pattern that also makes up the sleeves.
So far the sweater seems to fit! I will have to block it when it is completed and hopefully it will be a perfect match for me. I hope that I still like the color when I am done. It seems to be a little bright, but I think that It will work well with some dark jeans and a black top.
